Biography of Amr ath-Thamali

ʿAmr al-Thumālī (or al-Yamānī): the Prophet sent him with a voluntary sacrifice, instructing: 'If any is injured, slaughter it, dye its sandal with blood, strike its flank, and leave it for the people.' Reported by the Three.
