Omar said: To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. It was narrated that Gabriel, peace be upon him, came down to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a turban of brocade, and said: O Prophet of Allah, who is this for whom the gates of heaven were opened and for whom the throne shook? So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, went out quickly, dragging his garment, and found Saad had been arrested. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, buried him and left his funeral, his tears fell down his beard, and his hand was in his beard. His mother mourned for him, and said: Woe to the mother of Saad Saada...
