Sawdah bint Zam'ah

Sawda bint Zam'a bin Qays bin Abd Shams bin Abd Wad bin Nasr bin Malik bin Hasal bin Amer bin Luay al-Qurashiyah al-Amiriyya. Her mother is Al-Shumos bint Qais bin Zaid bin Amr bin Labid bin Khadash bin Amer bin Ghanam bin Adi bin al-Najjar al-Ansariyya. Sawda is the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, married her in Mecca after the death of Khadija before Aisha, Aqeel transmitted this on the authority of Al-Zuhri; Qatada, Abu Ubaidah, and Ibn Ishaq give the same report.
