Umm Samurah bint Jundub

Umm Samra bin Jundub has a mention in the hadith of Abd al-Hamid bin Jaafar, on the authority of his father, that Umm Samra bin Jundub, her husband died, leaving his son Samra. She was a beautiful woman. She came to Medina and proposed. She used to say: I will not marry except a man who will provide for her son Samra until he reaches puberty. So a man from the Ansar married her on that basis. She was with him at home. His mission. Narrated by Ibn Mandah and Abu Naim.
