Umm Sulaym

Umm Suleiman bin Amr (b) Umm Suleiman bin Amr bin Al-Ahwas. Her son Suleiman narrated from her. Reported by Yahya, on the authority of Abu Bakr ibn Abi Asim, who said: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah told us, Ali ibn Mushar told us, on the authority of Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Suleiman ibn Amr ibn al-Ahwas, on the authority of his mother that she said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, at Jamrat al-Aqaba, riding a mule, and a man behind him protecting him from the people, so I asked about the man, and was told: This is Al-Fadl ibn Abbas. People crowded around him. He said: O people, do not kill one another, and if you throw a jamzah, throw it like gravel pebbles. He went deeper into the valley and threw seven pebbles at the Jamarat, saying "Allahu Akbar" with each pebble, and left.
