Zaynab bint Ali ibn Abi Talib

Zainab bint Ali bin Abi Talib, whose name is Abd Manaf bin Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim al-Qurayshi al-Hashimiyya. Her mother is Fatima, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She met the Prophet ﷺ and gave birth during his lifetime, but Fatima, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, did not give birth to anything after his death. Zainab was a sensible, eloquent and virtuous woman. Her father, Ali, may Allah be pleased with them, married her off to Abdullah, the son of his brother Jaafar. She bore him Ali, Aoun the Great, Abbas, Muhammad, and Umm Kulthum. She was with her brother Al-Hussein, may Allah be pleased with him, when he was killed. She was taken to Damascus and attended by Yazid bin Muawiyah.
