Busr ibn Artat

Busr with the ba' pronounced with sukoon and sin.

He is Busr ibn Arta'ah, or: son of Abu Arta'ah, and his name is:

Amr ibn Awaimir ibn 'Amran ibn al-Halis ibn Sayyar ibn Nizar ibn Ma'is ibn 'Amir ibn Lu'ayy ibn Ghalib ibn Fahd ibn Malik ibn al-Nadr ibn Kinanah, or: Arta'ah ibn Abu Arta'ah, and his name is 'Amir, and Allah knows best.

He is known as: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, and he is counted among the people of Sham.
