Definition of To rise (celestial body)
Allah says: 'When he saw the sun rising (bâzighatan)' (Al-An'âm: 78), and: 'When he saw the moon rising (bâzighan)' (Al-An'âm: 77).
Al-buzûgh refers to the sudden and brilliant appearance of a celestial body on the horizon.
This verb is used specifically for the rising of celestial bodies when their light begins to appear.
And when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray."
