Definition of Toil / Effort

Al-Kadḥ refers to strenuous effort and intense labor.

The Almighty says: 'O mankind, you are laboring toward your Lord with exertion' (Al-Inshiqaq 6), meaning you work hard in this life.

Al-kādiḥ is one who toils at work.
