Definition Al-ʿaʾla al-thaal-ithaa

Al-ʿaʾla al-thaal-ithaa according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

(The Karkhiyya): that which is connected to Ma'ruf al-Karkhi, khalifa of Dawud al-Ta'i, who goes back to Habib al-'Ajami; al-Karkh is a quarter of Baghdad.
