Definition Al-ama

Al-ama according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

Every community joined by a matter, be it one religion, one time or one place, whether the joining matter is imposed or chosen. The saying of the Exalted: (There is no creature but there are communities like you) (Al-An'am 38), that is, every kind of them follows a way compelled by its nature: it stands between the weaver like the spider, the hoarder like the ant, and the one relying on the strength of the moment like the sparrow and the dove, and so on among the natures.
