📖 1 min readThe directed proposition whose meaning is either pure affirmation only, as when we say: every human is living by necessity; or pure negation only, as when we say: nothing of the human is a stone by necessity. Its opposite is the composite. The simple propositions are eight: absolute necessary, general conditional, absolute temporal, absolute dispersed, absolute perpetual, general customary, general absolute, and general possible.
Negative, when the particle of negation in it is not part of the subject and the predicate.
