Definition Al-daʾma al-mṭlqa

Al-daʾma al-mṭlqa according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

It is that in which it is judged that the predicate is constantly affirmed of the subject, or constantly negated from it, as long as the essence of the subject exists. The example of affirmation is our saying: "always, every human is an animal", for we have judged therein the constant affirmation of animality to the human as long as his essence exists. The example of negation is: "always, nothing of the human is a stone", for the judgment therein is upon the constant negation of stoniness from the human as long as his essence exists.

Al-daʾma al-mṭlqa according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

That in which it is judged that the predicate is constantly affirmed of the subject as long as the essence of the subject exists.
