📖 2 min readThey are those who do not let what is within their inner selves appear on their outer selves, and they strive to achieve the perfection of sincerity. They place things in their proper positions according to what has been decreed in the arena of the unseen, so that neither their will nor their knowledge contradicts the will and knowledge of Allah the Most High. They do not deny causes except in a context that requires their denial, and they do not affirm them except in a context that requires their affirmation. Whoever removes a cause from where its Maker placed it has acted foolishly and been ignorant of its worth, and whoever relies upon it where it should be denied has associated partners with Allah and deviated. These are the ones concerning whom it came: My saints are under My domes, none knows them besides Me.
Those whose inner state does not become apparent on their outer state. They strive to achieve the perfection of sincerity and place things in their positions, their will and knowledge not contradicting the will and knowledge of the Truth. They do not shy away from the causes in a context that requires their denial and vice versa. Whoever removes a cause in a place where its Maker established it has acted foolishly and been ignorant of its worth, and whoever relies upon it in a place where it should be denied has associated partners with Allah and deviated. These are the ones concerning whom it was said: My saints are under My domes, none knows them besides Me (mentioned by Mawla Ali al-Qari in Charh al-Shama'il, chapter of the Messenger's eating ﷺ, and in the hadith of the forearm, without attributing it).
