📖 2 min readIt refers to the one who is drawn away from his own will. The Murad (the chosen or desired one) meant by this is the beloved. Among the characteristics of the beloved is that he is not afflicted with hardships and trials in his spiritual states; and if he is afflicted, then he is merely an aspirant (muhibb) and nothing else.
The one who is drawn by the Truth through the attraction of Divine Power, such that the spiritual states are unveiled to him.
He is the one who is drawn away from his own will while having a clear distinction of the divine command, thus transcending conventions and spiritual stations without any difficulty. The Murad (the chosen one) meant by this is the beloved. Among the characteristics of the beloved is that he is not afflicted with hardships and trials in his spiritual states, and if he is afflicted, then he is in need of someone other than Him.
