Definition Al-msafr

Al-msafr according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

It is the one who intends to travel a medium journey of three days and their nights, and leaves the houses of his town.

Al-msafr according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

One who leaves the houses of his residence intending a medium journey of three days and their nights; and the completion of this aim takes place during the journey.

Al-msafr according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

According to the people of truth: it is the one who travels with his mind through the intelligible realities (ma'qulat).

Al-msafr according to At-Ta'rifat al-Fiqhiyya (Al-Barkati)

It is the one who leaves the dwellings of his place of residence intending a distance of three days and their nights, at a medium pace with the customary rests; they estimated it at forty-eight miles.
