Al-msbwq according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

He is the one who joined the imam after a rak'a or more and who recites in what he makes up, like his imam's recitation: the Fatiha and the sura; for what he makes up is the first of his prayer in respect of the pillars.

Al-msbwq according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

The one who did not catch the first rak'a with the imam; he has many rulings.

Al-msbwq according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

He is the one who joined the imam after a rak'a or more and who recites in what he makes up, like his imam's recitation: the Fatiha and the sura, for what he makes up is the first of his prayer in respect of the pillars.

Al-msbwq according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

With the Hanafis: the one who joined the imam after a rak'a or more. With the Shafi'is: the one whose entering the state of consecration (ihram) came after the imam's ihram in the first rak'a, or his takbir in the rak'as after it, even if he catches the standing for the length of the Fatiha or more.

Al-msbwq according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

The one whose time between his takbir and his imam's bowing does not suffice for reciting the Fatiha.
