The voice's rising; the voice naqa'a and istanqa'a, when it rose.

Al-naqʿu according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

The water in a place, with naq'an: its stay lasted long; it is thus naqi' and naqi'. A man: he raised his voice. The water the thirsty, with naq'an and naq'an: he stayed in it.
