Definition Al-qyaas al-mrkb

Al-qyaas al-mrkb according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

Qiyas murakkab (compound syllogism) composed of premises, two of which yield a result that, combined with the other premise, yields another result and so on until the desired objective is obtained. It is divided into two types: if the results of those syllogisms are explicitly stated, it is the connected-results syllogism due to the connection of those results with the premises; and if those results are not explicitly stated but are separated from the premises and left unstated in the mention, it is the separated-results syllogism. Examples are found in books of logic.

Al-qyaas al-mrkb according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

Combination of premises, some of which yield a result that entails, from it and another premise, another result, until the desired objective is reached.
