Definition Al-twabʿ

Al-twabʿ according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

The nouns whose declension follows that of another, by way of dependence; they are five kinds: confirmation, epithet, substitution (badal), explicative coordination ('atf bayan), and coordination by particles ('atf bi-l-huruf).
