Definition Al-wjwdy

Al-wjwdy according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

On two meanings: the first is the existent, and the second is that of which non-existence or negation is not part of its concept, whether it exists in external reality or not. Existence in this sense is thus more general than in the first sense.

Al-wjwdy according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

That in whose inherent concept and reality there is no negation of anything.
