Definition Al-yas

Al-yas according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

It is used to express constriction (al-qabd), because Idris, due to his ascension to the spiritual world, consumed his humoral forces in the unseen and was seized therein. Therefore, it is used to express constriction, as stated in the terminologies of the Sayyid al-Sanad, may his secret be sanctified.
