Definition Asm al-iishaaraa

Asm al-iishaaraa according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

A noun established to designate that which is pointed to by a sensory indication using the senses and limbs, and it shall not be said that the definition is circular, or that it is by what is more obscure than it, or by what is equal to it in knowledge and ignorance, for he defined the conventional demonstrative noun by the known linguistic indicated object.
