Definition Daaʾiraa al-iartfaaʿ

Daaʾiraa al-iartfaaʿ according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

It is a great circle that bisects the world, intersects the circle of the horizon at right angles, and passes through the center of the Sun wherever it may be. In Ad-Durar Al-Manthurah: it is a great circle that passes through the two poles of the horizon and through the elevated part, and the portion of it situated between the elevated part and the horizon is the altitude of that part.
