Definition Hind

Hind according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

With a kasra on the first letter and a sukun on the second: the name of the son of Abu Halah; he was the milk brother of the lady of women, the khatoon of Paradise, Fatima az-Zahra, may Allah the Exalted be pleased with her; Hind ibn Abi Halah, may Allah the Exalted be pleased with him, was the describer of the Prophet, peace and salutation upon him, as has passed in the mention of the noblest of names: Muhammad, may the prayer of Allah and His salutation be upon him.
