Definition Mnā

Mnā according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

A state attained by a thing because of its being obtained in time, or now.

Mnā according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

They said: 'yumna laka l-mana' (may the decree be decreed for you), meaning: may the judge rule in your favor and the Decree ordain; hence the Most High's saying: 'min nutfatin idha tumna' (from a drop of seed when it is emitted).

Mnā according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

'Muniya Allahu l-amra': He decreed the matter's measure. 'Muniya Allahu fulanan bi-kadha': He tried him with it.

Mnā according to Mu'jam Lughat al-Fuqaha

With kasra of the mim and fatha of the nun: a place near Mecca within the sacred precinct (haram) where pilgrims dwell during the days of tashriq; it was so named for the blood shed there.

Mnā according to At-Ta'rifat al-Fiqhiyya (Al-Barkati)

A place near Mecca within the sacred precinct; masculine gender and declension (i'rab) prevail with it; it may be written with alif.
