Definition of Lfḥ

Al-Lafḥ refers to the burning breath of fire on the face.

The Almighty says: 'The Fire will burn their faces' (Al-Mu'minun 104).

Lafaḥat an-nār wajhahu means the fire burned his face.

It is intense burning.
