Definition of Qyl

Al-Qaylūlah refers to the midday rest.

The Almighty says: 'Better in position and better in rest' (Al-Furqan 24).

Qāla yaqīlu qaylūlatan means to rest at midday.

It is the rest period during the heat of the day.
