Definition of Amshāj

Al-Amshāj are mixed liquids.

The Almighty says: 'From a sperm-drop mixture' (Al-Insan 2), meaning the mixture of male and female fluids.

Al-mashīj is the mixed one.

Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
