Definition of Zml

Al-muzzammil: 'O you who wraps himself' (Al-Muzzammil 1), meaning the one who wraps himself in his garment.

This metaphorically expresses withdrawing into oneself like a sick person wrapping themselves in their clothes.

Az-zumla and az-zimla: that which wraps something.

And az-zamill: that which is carried on a mount.
