Supplication of the one breaking fast at a family's home

Arabic text

أَفطَر عِنْدَكُم الصائِمونَ ، وأكل طعامَكُمُ الأبْرارُ ، وصلت عليكُمُ الملائِكَةُ

Pronunciation

Aftara 'indakumu-s-sa'imuna, wa akala ta'amakumu-l-abraru, wa sallat 'alaykumu-l-mala'ikatu.

Translation

"May the fasting have broken their fast at your place, may the righteous have eaten your food, and may the angels have prayed upon you."

Sunan Abu Dawud 3/367، et Ibn Majah 1/556 ، et an-Nasa'i في عمل الي et م et الليلة n° 298 ، et نص على أنه صلى الله عليه et سلم يق et له si أفطر عند أهل بيت ،et jugé bon par al-Albani في Sahih Abu Dawud 2/730
