Supplication upon entering the mosque

Arabic text

أعوذ بالله العظيم ،وبوجهه الكريم ،وسلطانه القديم ،من الشيطان الرجيم

Pronunciation

A'udhu billahi-l-'Azim, wa bi-wajhihi-l-Karim, wa sultanihi-l-Qadim, mina-sh-shaytani-r-rajim.

Translation

I seek refuge with Allah the Almighty, by His noble face, and by His eternal authority, from the accursed Satan.

[ بسم الله ،والصلاة ] [ والسلام على رسول الله] ، اللهم افتح لي أبواب رحمتك

Pronunciation

[Bismillah, wa-ssalah] [wa-ssalam 'ala Rasulillah], Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik.

Translation

[In the name of Allah, and blessings] [and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah]. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
