Definition of Alone / Unique
Al-Fard refers to what is not mixed with anything else.
It is more general than al-witr and more specific than al-wāḥid.
Its plural is furādā.
The Almighty says: 'And all of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone' (Maryam 95).
Allah is al-Fard, the Unique One who has no likeness.
[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allah]. It has [all] been severed between you, and lost from you is what you used to claim."
Surah Maryam : 80 Meccan
﴿وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًا﴾
And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone.
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
