Definition Al-ḥḍwr

Al-ḥḍwr according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

Absence from creation due to the dominance of the remembrance of Allah over one's heart.

Al-ḥḍwr according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

According to the people of this path, it is the presence of the heart with Allah after absence. [Fasl al-Ta]
