Setting forth the ruling of the question; if you want the exactness of verification, the fullness of detail, and precision, look in 'al-Fatawa'. 'Iftara 'ala Allah kadhiban' (he fabricated a lie against Allah): with fatha of the hamza, because originally it was 'aftarâ'; the hamzat al-wasl was dropped for lightness, and the open hamza remains, which is the interrogative hamza: do not neglect it.
