Al-ihlal- according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

Raising the voice with the talbiya, which alludes to the state of ihram.

Al-ihlal- according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

In language: 'ahalla l-tifl': he cried out and raised his voice; 'ahalla bi-l-dhabiha': he mentioned the name of Him in whose name the animal is slaughtered, as Allah, exalted be He, said, clarifying what He forbade to eat: 'and that over which any name other than Allah's has been invoked'.

Al-ihlal- according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

Raising the voice to see the majesty of 'ahl': this denotes the capacity for the legal rights to be owed to him and incumbent upon him. Among the people of taste (dhawq): it is, by the judgment of His manifestations, descending from the station of his spirit and heart to the station of his soul and desire, as if he renewed that in reality and tasted it, and this shows upon their faces (al-Ta'rifat p. 41).
