Informing of what has preceded.
In the Sharia: informing of a right of another upon him. In another wording: informing of the establishment of another's right upon himself, so the iqrar is not creation (insha'), and its ruling is the appearing of the persuasion, not its creating; so understand.
Informing of the establishment of a prior right.
The showing of commitment to what its matter is obscure; thus said al-Harali.
In the Sharia: informing of another's right upon him; it is called miqar; the one confessed to is muqarr la-hu, and the right maqur bi-hi.
