It is the name of the event running upon the verb, and the event's realization in the event; the sense of its running upon the verb is the validity of its occurring after the verb's derivation from it, confirming it, or specifying its kind or number, as: I sat a sitting (jalastu julusan), or julusa, or julusatan; and for the bare triliteral it is auditory; and for others, derivational. They said the forms of the bare triliteral's masdar are many, as qatl, fusq, shuql, rahma, nashada, kudra, da'wa, dhikra, bushra, li'an, hirman, gharfa, nazwan, talab, khnaq, sagar, huda, ghalaba, sariqa, dhahab, sarraf, su'al, zuhada, diraya, dukhul, qubul, jayf, sahuba, madkhal, marja', masa'a, mahmuda, baghiyya, karahiyya; but the frequent for the intransitive verb is on the fu'ul pattern, and for the transitive on fa'l. In crafts and the like, on kataba and 'ibara.
