Definition Al-nsk

Al-nsk according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

Worship, and every right belonging to Allah the Most High, as stated in Al-Qamous. Nusuk and nsakah: asceticism, worship, and the slaughtered animal. Nasaka the garment: he washed and purified it. Nasaka the place and the land: he perfumed and fertilized it, and he is nasik of his place: purified and perfumed through worship performed therein. And the nasik of the sacrificial animal: the one who slaughters it to draw closer to Allah the Exalted. And the mansak: a noun of time, a noun of place, or a derived verbal noun. Allah the Most High said: ﴿لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنا مَنْسَكاً هُمْ ناسِكُوهُ﴾.

Al-nsk according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

So-and-so practiced nusuk, nuskah, and mansak: he engaged in asceticism and worship. He slaughtered a sacrificial animal to draw closer through it to Allah the Most High. The garment and the like, nasukan: he washed it with water and thereby purified it. Towards a beautiful path: he persevered in it. The man: practiced nusuk and nsakah, he became an ascetic. Intasaka: he engaged in asceticism and worship. Tanasaka: he is equivalent to intasaka. The mansak: the path of asceticism and worship. Plural: manasik. And in the Noble Quran: ﴿لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنا مَنْسَكاً هُمْ ناسِكُوهُ﴾ (Al-Hajj: 67). The place where the sacrifice is slaughtered. The mansik:

With a damma: the slaughtered animal, and from it: (fidyatun min siyamin aw sadaqatin aw nusukin). Sacrifice. Al-nasmah: with a fatha on the second radical, the human being. Man. Every being possessing a soul. Living creature. And from it: and He Who created al-nasmah.
