It is the call and exhortation to what contains rectitude, and the forbidding of what contains corruption.
A fa'ila-form adjective from nasaha (to counsel), which is truthfulness in information; one says 'nasah-tu-hu nashan wa nashatan' (I counseled him); Allah, the Most High, said: 'and I am a sincere adviser to you.'
