Al-tjwyd according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

(To read well and beautify). The science of tajwid is a science with rules through which one knows how to give every letter its due right. Its subject matter is the glorious Quran. Its benefit is happiness in both worlds. Its ultimate goal is that the tongue is protected from error in the recitation of the speech of Allah تعالى.
