Those hearts inclined by benevolence and affection; in the mighty Quran: « alms are but for the poor, needy, service-agents, those hearts rallied » (at-Tawba 60). Among the Malikites: those the imam would rally islam. Among the Hanafis, three kinds: unbelievers the Prophet gave rallying islam; people given warding their ill; converts weak islam consolidated. Among the Shafi’ites, two sorts: unbelievers, Muslims. Unbelievers two: good hoped, ill feared. Muslims four: folk honored among theirs, rallying aiming peers’ islam; converts weak-willed islam, rallied fortifying, establishing; forces obeyed by unbelievers: given, fighting them; giving wanting rallying fighting them; folk obeying zakat-burdened, withholding: given, fighting and compelling taking to the imam; ungiven, zakat not taken, imam needing heavy expense readying collectors. Among the Hanbalites: lords obeyed in folk and tribes; their classing matching the Shafi’ites’. Among the Zahirites: powerful folk whose counsel unreliable to Muslims. Among the Ja’farites: those rallied jihad by charity-sharing, though unbelievers. Among the Ibadites: association-captive among believers; or islamized shakily weakly; or associate islam hoped or islam-tilting. Hearts-rallied’s number the Messenger’s era thirty-one, Arab lords. Some scholars: Abou Bakr taking caliphate, islam spreading, Muslims multiplying, banned giving hearts-rallied: « the grants cut ». Others ’Oumar did. Truth: grant-holding was these persons individually, islam needing not buying their support by money; rallying and inciting’s share Quran-judged till Resurrection-day.
