Mutawati according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

It is the universal whose sense and truth obtain on its mental and outward individuals equally, as man and sun: man has individuals outward, its truth on them equal; the sun individuals mental, its truth on them equally.

Mutawati according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

The motawafiqa of at-tawatou’: concordance. Among logicians: the universal whose individuals, existing or nonexistent, equal in its truth on them: its truth on its individuals equal, none more proper, prior, stronger or greater toward some over others. Otherwise: the universal whose truth equals on its mental and outward individuals, as man toward its individuals: the universal therein, animality and rationality, varying not by addition nor subtraction.
