Definition Rujua

Rujua according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

One motion in one azimuth, but a distance equal to the first motion itself, unlike the inflection.

Rujua according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

It is the motion over the first motion’s distance itself, unlike the inflection.

Rujua according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

Lexically: the swerve; said: he returned - returns - return, and returning, and re-turning, and place of return: when he turned; I returned him: sent him back; he returned from travel, and of the matter he returns in return and re-turn. Ibn as-Sikkite said: going’s contrary, transiting itself in pure tongue; the Quran came by it: Allah said: « if Allah returns you toward a band of them ».
