Definition Trahm

Trahm according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Tarahama the people: to show mercy to one another. Ar-rahim: the place where the embryo is formed and its receptacle in the womb; it is feminine (plural: arham). In the Noble Quran: 'It is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs (arham), if they believe in Allah and the Last Day' (Al-Baqarah, 228). Ar-rahm: kinship and its bonds, masculine and feminine. In the noble hadith: 'None shall enter Paradise who severs the ties of kinship (rahim)'; by rahim are meant the relatives, that is: those who join him to another by kinship, whether he inherits from them or not, and whether they are unmarriageable kin (muhram) or not.
