Definition of Naʿl

An-Na'l refers to the sandal.

The Almighty says: 'Remove your sandals' (Ta-Ha 12).

Na'ala means to put on shoes.

In'āl is putting shoes on someone.

Moses' sandals were removed out of reverence.

Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.
