Definition of NʿQ
An-Na'īq refers to the shepherd's call to his animals.
The Almighty says: 'Like one who calls' (Al-Baqarah 171).
Na'aqa means to shout to animals.
The disbelievers are compared to cattle hearing only shouts.
The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.
