Definition of Rwʿ

Al-ruw': the spirit, the heart.

In hadith: 'The Holy Spirit breathed into my ruw''.

Allah says: 'When the fear (raw') left Ibrahim' (Hûd: 74).

Ibrahim was frightened by angels then reassured.
