To pronounce the name The Resurrector in Arabic, we say: Al-Ba'ith.
It is written in Arabic: الباعث.
From the Arabic root ب-ع-ث (b-'-th, to raise or send), بَاعِث (ba'ith) is the active participle فَاعِل, the one who raises creation after death.
The Name “The Resurrector” means: The One who raises the dead and awakens hearts. It affirms a perfection belonging to Allah without defect, limit, or resemblance to creation. In al-Ghazali’s perspective, the believer never claims to share the divine attribute in its reality; instead, the Name gives an orientation suited to the condition of a servant.
Meditating on this Name calls the believer to revive the heart through faith and good works, prepare for resurrection, and spend life in obedience. Knowledge of the Name thereby becomes worship, refinement of character, and trust in Allah alone.
