Home > Becoming a Muslim: the complete path > What to do just after pronouncing the shahada?
No immediate obligation, but recommended steps: full ablution, invocation, then learning in the right order. What must absolutely not be done.
Just after conversion, nothing is required of you immediately. The scholars recommend making a full ablution (ghusl) as a sign of purification, invoking Allah, then learning in order: the ablutions, the prayer, then the basics of Muslim life. Former sins are erased (Sahih Muslim 121): you begin a blank page, and learning happens progressively.

No. The religious duties prior to conversion are erased with the rest: that is the scholars' position for whoever enters Islam.
As soon as you can, but without skipping steps: first the ablutions, then the Fatiha, then the prayer step by step. An imperfect but sincere prayer is better than no prayer.
No, it is not an obligation. If your circle is serene, the announcement is a beautiful step; if serious harm is to be feared, discretion is permitted.
